Overview

Denver Criminal Defense Attorney Chloe Gleichman has proven herself to be a charismatic advocate in and out of the courtroom. Having devoted her entire legal career to defense work, she finds a way to articulately defend those who need defending and has a track record to prove it.

Chloe Gleichman’s attention to detail and the ability to view all sides of a story have put her in the favor of many Colorado Judges and District Attorneys. Compassionate with her clients and assertive in the courtroom, she makes it exceedingly clear that she will not shy away from a challenge in order to achieve the best possible outcome in your case.

Chloe Gleichman sums up her philosophy:

As a criminal defense attorney, it is a privilege to stand with a client during possibly the most difficult and terrifying time in their life. It is my responsibility to serve as a client’s shield from the overbearing state, a protector of a person’s story, and a guardian of the Constitution. I have a background in psychology and advocacy and pride myself on my ability to relate to clients from all walks of life. I seek to understand a person, not just their case, which uniquely positions me to be an effective advocate who naturally tailors strategy to a client’s individual situation.

Chloe Gleichman understands that being charged with a criminal offense can be one of the scariest moments in a person’s life, and as your attorney, she will be there for you every step of the way.  No matter your background, you can count on Chloe Gleichman to confront the system and fight for you from the day your case lands on her desk.

In her free time, Chloe enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, and dance.

Notable Cases

2026People v. S.B. (Denver County) – Client was charged with multiple felonies related to a fight that was captured on camera.  After dissecting the video and making arguments related to proximate cause, the D.A. decided the case was not worth the time. The case was dismissed.

2026People v. C.O. (Denver County) – Client was charged with four separate domestic violence cases in four different counties.  Chloe successfully convinced the D.A.s in three of the counties to dismiss their respective cases in exchange for a plea to a single misdemeanor in Denver.

2026People v. L.H. (Arapahoe County) – Client was charged with felony domestic violence.  Chloe convinced the D.A.’s office they could not prove it, and the case resolved with two minor traffic tickets and no fine.

2025People v. T.F. (Garfield County) – Client was charged with sexual assault.  After the D.A. refused to negotiate, Chloe took the case to trial and won a Not Guilty verdict.

2025 People v. M.M. (Jefferson County): Client was accused of sexual assault and charged with nine felonies and two misdemeanors. After spending almost a year in jail, Chloe won a full acquittal after a jury trial. Client was released from jail that same day.

2025People v. S.J. (Jefferson County): An overzealous cop wrongfully charged Chloe’s client with DUI. The prosecutor refused to negotiate, so Chloe set the case for trial. After challenging probable cause, the D.A. sheepishly filed a Motion to Dismiss, letting Chloe know that while he believed the Client was DUI, he (finally) agreed with Chloe that it was unlikely a jury would render a guilty verdict.

2024People v. J.C. (Adams County): Client had a history of drug offending and was facing a mandatory DOC sentence of up to three decades. Chloe successfully negotiated the case and achieved a 2-year probationary sentence for this client with no further sanction.

2024People v. N.S. (Broomfield County): Client was charged with a third DUI and refused a chemical test. Chloe took the case to trial and successfully achieved an acquittal after presenting evidence that the prosecution’s theory of the case was factually improbable.

2024People v. R.R. (Jefferson County): Client was charged with sexual assault, and the prosecution sought to introduce 404(b) evidence at trial. After Chloe litigated the 404(b) motion and won, the prosecution’s case was sufficiently weakened, and they filed a motion to dismiss prior to trial.

2023People v. Z.K. (Jefferson County): Client was charged with various crimes in relation to a road rage incident. He was facing not only a conviction, but also a revocation of his deferred judgment if he sustained any conviction. Chloe took the case to a jury trial and won a full acquittal.

2022People v. D.M. (Jefferson County): Client was charged with a drug felony and a DUI. Client was facing a mandatory prison sentence if convicted. Chloe successfully called out the numerous mistakes police made during the investigation and secured the client a one-year deferred judgment with no requirements. The client completed it successfully and the case was dismissed. On top of that, Chloe was able to get the government to return thousands of dollars to the client, money that had been seized during the arrest.

2022 People v. S.J. (Park County): Client was accused of sexually assaulting a child. After lengthy litigation, Chloe succeeded in getting the case dismissed after exposing the unreliability of the evidence and the biases of the accuser’s mother.

2021People v. N.H. (Adams County): Client was accused of unlawful sexual touching of a child. Chloe successfully took this case to trial and won a Not Guilty verdict for the client, who was also facing immigration consequences should he have been convicted.

2021People v. H.D. (Denver County): Client proceeded to a bench trial on a domestic violence assault charge. Chloe put on a successful defense, calling multiple witnesses, including the client himself. Prior to announcing her Not Guilty verdict, the judge noted she found the defense was presented “extremely well.”
